PT. Penjaminan Kredit Daerah (Jamkrida) Jakarta awaits for permission letter from Financial Services Authority (OJK) regarding sharia collateral issuance for Small Medium-sized Entrepreneurs (UKM).
Technically, we need to create business plan for each products and then propose it to OJK.
PT. Jamkrida Jakarta Director, Chusnul Ma'arif said, sharia collateral product is considered to have huge profit potential. Besides, it is also one of his efforts to support Jakarta Government's program related sharia and halal tourism development.
"Technically, we need to create business plan for each products and then propose it to OJK. After assessing and approving the product, they will issue a permit. I think it will be released within this week," he stated, Wednesday (8/21).
Council Supports City to Develop Sharia EconomyAfter receiving permission letter from OJK, he continued, his side will cooperate with Bank DKI Sharia. This year, his side is targeting sharia collateral to reach Rp 200 billion and 2020 to reach Rp 1 trillion.
"Rp 1 trillion is still reasonable since its product can include banking or non-banking. For banking, we will cooperate with banks that have sharia system, while for non-banking, we will cooperate with sharia cooperatives and others," he explained.
In the meantime, his side is preparing the proper human resources, including its training and certification.
